Question 57

P can do a piece of work in 36 days. If Q is 50% more efficient than P, then in how many days can Q do the same work?

Solution

P can do a piece of work in 36 days.

Now, Q is 50% more efficient than P, => P will take 50% more time than Q to finish the same work.

=> Days required by Q = $$\frac{36}{(100+50)}\times100$$

= $$\frac{36}{3}\times2=24$$ days

=> Ans - (B)
