Given, Marked Price (MP) = $$₹800$$

Discount% = 20%

$$=$$> Selling Price (SP) = $$\frac{80}{100}\times800=₹640$$

Profi% = 25%

Let cost paid by the shopkeeper to purchase the article (Cost Price) = CP

$$=$$> $$\frac{125}{100}\text{CP}=640$$

$$=$$> $$\text{CP}=₹512$$
