Solution

Cost price of dining table = Rs.11900

Profit = 20%

Selling price = 11900 $$\times \frac{120}{100}$$ = Rs.14280

Discount = 16%

Let the marked price 100%.

Selling price = 100 - 16 = 84%

84% = 14280

100% = $$ \frac{14280}{84} \times$$ 100 = 17000

Marked price of dining table = Rs.17000
