If $$X$$% of $$Y$$ is 150 and $$Y$$% of $$Z$$ is 300, then the relation between $$X$$ and $$Z$$ is:

Solution

$$X$$ % of $$Y$$ = 150 i,e $$Y=\frac{(150\times100)}{X}$$ ....... Equation...(1)

$$Z$$ % of $$Y$$ =300 i,e $$Z=\frac{(300\times100)}{Y}$$ .........Equation...(2)

Substitute value of $$Y$$ in Equation...(2)

$$Z=\dfrac{\frac{(300\times100)}{(150\times100)}}{x}$$

$$Z=\frac{(300\times100)\times X}{150\times100}$$

$$Z=2X$$
