What percentage of the total expenditure is spent on cricket and tennis taken together, during 2015?

Solution

total expenditure on all the sports = $$(85+74+77+65+59)^{\circ\ }$$

= $$360^{\circ\ }$$

total expenditure on cricket and tennis taken together = $$(85+77)^{\circ\ }$$

= $$162^{\circ\ }$$

Percentage = $$\frac{162^{\circ\ }}{360^{\circ\ }}\times\ 100$$

= 45%
