In ΔABC, D and E are points on side AB and AC respectively. DE is parallel to BC. If lengths of AD, DB and DE are 10 cm, 5 cm and 6 cm respectively. What is the length of BC?
DE is parallel to BC
=> $$\frac{AD}{AB} = \frac{DE}{BC}$$
=> $$\frac{10}{10 + 5} = \frac{6}{BC}$$
=> $$\frac{2}{3} = \frac{6}{BC}$$
=> $$BC = 3 \times 3 = 9$$ cm
=> Ans - (A)
