Solution

Total number of mobiles sold by these four brands in 2014 (in '000 units) = 4 + 4.5 + 6 + 7.5 = 22

Total number of mobiles sold by these four brands in 2016 (in '000 units) = 7.5 + 6 + 7.5 + 9.5 = 30.5

=> Required % increase = $$\frac{(30.5-22)}{22}\times100$$

= $$38.63\%$$
