What is the percentage increase in number of mobile sold by Brand 2 from 2014 to 2015?

Solution

Number of mobiles sold by brand 2 in 2014 (in '000 units) = 4.5

Number of mobiles sold by brand 2 in 2015 (in '000 units) = 5

=> Required % increase = $$\frac{(5-4.5)}{4.5}\times100$$

= $$\frac{100}{9}=11.11\%$$
