If 60#40 = 10, 40#20 = 6 and 60#90 = 15, then find the value of 40#30 = ?

Solution

Given : 60#40 = 10, 40#20 = 6 and 60#90 = 15

If we replace '#' with '+', and divide the sum by 10, we get the desired result.

Eg :- $$\frac{60+40}{10}=10$$

and $$\frac{40+20}{10}=6$$ and $$\frac{60+90}{10}=15$$

Similarly, $$\frac{40+30}{10}=7$$

=> Ans - (D)
