The following equation is incorrect. Which two signs should be interchanged to correct the equation?
8 ÷ 2 - 50 x 6 + 16 = 50

Solution

Expression : 8 ÷ 2 - 50 x 6 + 16 = 50

(A) : + and x

$$\equiv8\div2-50+6\times16=50$$

L.H.S. = $$(\frac{8}{2})-50+(6\times16)$$

= $$4-50+96=50=$$ R.H.S.

=> Ans - (A)
