The following equation is incorrect. Which two signs should be interchanged to correct the equation?
16 x 4 - 10 + 10 ÷ 6 = 54

Solution

Expression : 16 x 4 - 10 + 10 ÷ 6 = 54

(A) : ÷ and x

$$\equiv16\div4-10+10\times6=54$$

L.H.S. = $$(\frac{16}{4})-10+(10\times6)$$

= $$4-10+60=54=$$ R.H.S.

=> Ans - (A)
