Question 1

Arrange the fractions $$\frac{3}{4},\frac{5}{12},\frac{13}{16},\frac{16}{29},\frac{3}{8}$$ in their descending order of magnitude.

Find the number which is a prime number.

Question 3

If $$x=\frac{4}{2\sqrt{3}+3\sqrt{2}}$$,then find the value of  $$(x+\frac{1}{x})$$

Question 4

The equation of a line is given by 4y-6x+9=0. Find the slope of other line which is perpendicular to it.

Question 5

The two chords AB and CD of a circle intersect at point P, such that BP=4 cm, PD=5 cm, and CP=8 cm. ﬁnd the length of chord AB.

Question 6

AB is the chord of circle of length 6 cm. From the center of the circle a perpendicular is drawn which intersects the chord at M and distance between centre and chord is 4 cm. ﬁnd the area $$(in cm^2)$$ of the circle)

Question 7

The income of Rahul is Rs 60000 and his expenditure is Rs 40000. If his income is increased by 20% and expenditure in increased by 15%, then what will be the percentage increase in his savings?

Question 8

If u : v : w = 3 : 6 : 8, then what will be the ratio of $$(\frac{U}{V}):(\frac{V}{W}):(\frac{W}{U})$$ ?

Question 9

Puneet lent out Rs 30000 in two parts, one at 5% and the other at 9% interest. The yearly average interest comes out to be 6%. What are the amounts (in Rs) that are lent at 5% and 9% respectively?

Question 10

Average marks obtained by 19 boys of a college is 56. If the highest marks and lowest marks obtained are removed, then the average reduces by 2. What is the average of the highest and lowest marks obtained?
