If 89 = 36, 124 = 24 and 146 = 42, then find the value of 186 = ?

Solution

Given : 8*9 = 36, 12*4 = 24 and 14*6 = 42

If we replace '*' with 'x', and divide the product by 2, we get the desired result.

Eg :- $$\frac{8\times9}{2}=36$$

and $$\frac{12\times4}{2}=24$$ and $$\frac{14\times6}{2}=42$$

Similarly, $$\frac{18\times6}{2}=54$$

=> Ans - (B)
