Question 40

If -2@-4 =-8,-1@-8 =-8 and-1@6 = 6, then find the value of-1@7 = ?

Solution

Given : -2@-4 =-8,-1@-8 =-8 and-1@6 = 6

If we replace '@' with 'x' and also multiply the final result with '-1', then we will get the desired result.

Eg :- $$-1(-2\times-4)=-8$$

and $$-1(-1\times-8)=-8$$ and $$-1(-1\times6)=6$$

Similarly, $$-1(-1\times7)=7$$

=> Ans - (D)
