The following equation is incorrect. Which two signs should be interchanged to correct the equation?
18 - 2 ÷ 20 + 5 x 16 = 69

Solution

Expression : 18 - 2 ÷ 20 + 5 x 16 = 69

(A) : ÷ and -

$$\equiv18\div2-20+5\times16=69$$

L.H.S. = $$(\frac{18}{2})-20+(5\times16)$$

= $$9-20+80=69=$$ R.H.S.

=> Ans - (A)
