Question 40

If 13Δ3 = 20, 12Δ7 = 10 and 12Δ5 = 14, then find the value of 16Δ2 = ?

Solution

Given : 13Δ3 = 20, 12Δ7 = 10 and 12Δ5 = 14

If we replace 'Δ' with '-', and multiply the difference by 2, we get the desired result.

Eg :- $$(13-3)\times2=20$$

and $$(12-7)\times2=10$$ and $$(12-5)\times2=14$$

Similarly, $$(16-2)\times2=28$$

=> Ans - (C)
