The following equation is incorrect. Which two signs should be interchanged to correct the equation?
18 + 12 ÷ 9 - 30 x 16 = 10

Solution

Expression : 18 + 12 ÷ 9 - 30 x 16 = 10

(A) : + and x

$$\equiv18\times12\div9-30+16=10$$

L.H.S. = $$(\frac{18}{9}\times12)-14$$

= $$(2\times12)-14=10=$$ R.H.S.

=> Ans - (A)
