The following equation is incorrect. Which two signs should be interchanged to correct the equation?
$$12 \times 4- 6 \div 7 + 18 = 19$$

Solution

Expression : $$12 \times 4- 6 \div 7 + 18 = 19$$

(A) : ÷ and -

$$\equiv12\times4\div6-7+18=19$$

L.H.S. = $$(\frac{12}{6}\times4)+11$$

= $$(2\times4)+11=19=$$ R.H.S.

=> Ans - (A)
