If 2Δ5 = 5, 2Δ3 = 3 and 8Δ4 = 16, then find the value of 16Δ8 = ?

Solution

Given : 2Δ5 = 5, 2Δ3 = 3 and 8Δ4 = 16

If we replace 'Δ' with 'x', and divide the product by 2, we get the desired result.

Eg :- $$\frac{2\times5}{2}=5$$

and $$\frac{2\times3}{2}=2$$ and $$\frac{8\times4}{2}=16$$

Similarly, $$\frac{16\times8}{2}=64$$
