Hi Cracku team, where is the concept related to inflection points and how to consider the equation of a curve explained? Because in Geometry videos this is not explained. In the geometry vidoes one method is explained that is have 4 equations by removing modulus 2 times. Then we get 4 lines and according to that this point lies on one line and the shortest distance becomes 0. Thank you
We do consider inflection points and draw diagrams using them. Please watch videos of inequalities and functions; there, the inflection point is described. I hope this helps!!
why are the lines 2x and -2x not extended downwards???????????? and that why we could have also considered an inverted curve or inverted triangle like shape
Hi Manan Minhas, The line y=-2x in only in the region x<-1. After that region the equation curve will be y=2 this line is only in the region x>=-1 and x<=1. Similarly y=2x is only form x>1. If we extend the lines y= 2x and y =-2x downwards, they enter into the region x>=-1 and x<=1. But in that region the curve has some other equation. So, we can' extend those lines. We initially have no idea about the shape of the curve, we just drew the line and we got that shape. We are not concerned about the shape. I hope this helps!!
