Find the total surface area $$(in cm^2)$$ of a cuboid of length, breadth and height of 10.5 cm, 8 cm and 9 cm respectively.

Solution

Length, $$l=10.5$$ cm, breadth, $$b=8$$ cm and height, $$h=9$$ cm

Total surface area of cuboid = $$2(lb+bh+hl)$$

= $$2[(10.5\times8)+(8\times9)+(9\times10.5)]$$

= $$2\times(84+72+94.5)$$

= $$2\times250.5=501$$ $$cm^2$$

=> Ans - (D)
