Given sequence is 7, 12, 22, 42, 82
Let the missing term be y
12 - 7 = 5
22 - 12 = 10
42 - 22 = 20
82 - 42 = 40
As we can see that every time the difference is getting doubled so,
y - 82 = 80
y = 162
