If 60 boys can finish a work in 15 days by working 8 hours a day, then how many hours a day should 72 boys work to finish that work within 20 days?
Solution
Using, $$M_1\times D_1\times H_1$$ $$=M_2\times D_2\times H_2$$, where $$M$$ is the number of persons, $$D$$ is the number of days and $$H$$ is the number of hours.
Let number of hours required = $$h$$
According to ques, => $$60\times15\times8=72\times20\times h$$
=> $$h=\frac{60\times120}{72\times20}$$
=> $$h=\frac{360}{72}=5$$ hours
=> Ans - (C)
