Question 15

If 6 * 9 - 4 = 58 and 3 * 9 - 7 = 34, then in the expression A * 4 - 9 = 91, what is the value of 'A'?

Solution

The pattern is that $$'-'$$ is treated as $$'+'$$

Eg : $$6\times9+4=58$$

and $$3\times9+7=34$$

Similarly, $$A\times4+9=91$$

=> $$4A=91-9=82$$

=> $$A=\frac{82}{4}=20.5$$

=> Ans - (C)
