The LCM of two numbersis 280 and their ratio is 7 : 8. The two numbers are

Solution

Let the two numbers be $$7x$$ and $$8x$$

Now, L.C.M. $$(7x,8x)=7\times8\times x$$

According to ques,

=> $$56x=280$$

=> $$x=\frac{280}{56}=5$$

$$\therefore$$ The two numbers are : 35, 40

=> Ans - (C)
