Solution

$$(2\times2)+7 = 11$$
$$(11\times3)-6 = 27$$
$$(27\times4)+5 = 113$$
$$(113\times5)-4 = 561$$
$$(561\times6)+3 = 3369$$
$$(3369\times7)-2 = 23581$$

13 is the wrong number.
