we need to find value of (3x - 2y ) : (y - x )

Now divide ( 3x - 2y ) by y and divide (y - x ) by y also

we get , $$\frac{3x/y -2}{1 - x/y}$$

use x/y = 5/6

(3x - 2y ) : (y - x ) = 3 : 1
