If $$x = 5$$, then the value of the expression $$x^2 - 2 + \left(\frac{1}{x^2}\right)$$ is

Solution

GIven,    x $$=$$ 5 then

$$x^2-2+\ \frac{\ 1}{x^2}=5^2-2+\ \frac{\ 1}{5^2}$$

                         $$=\ \frac{\ 625-50+1}{25}$$

                          $$=\ \frac{\ 576}{25}$$
