The radius of wheel moving on a road, is $$\ 8\frac{3}{4}$$ cm. How many rounds it will take to complete 55 meter distance.

Solution

Radius = $$r=8\frac{3}{4}$$ cm

Distance covered in 1 revolution = Circumference of wheel = $$2\pi r$$

= $$2\times\frac{22}{7}\times\frac{35}{4}=55$$ cm

=> Required number of revolutions to cover 55 m = $$\frac{55\times100}{55}=100$$

=> Ans - (C)
