For successive dicount we know that,

A+B-$$\frac{\left(A\times\ B\right)}{100}$$

accordingly,

1st 25% & 20%

$$25+20-\left(\frac{\left(25\times\ 20\right)}{100}\right)=40\%$$

now 40 % & 10%

$$40+10-\left(\frac{\left(40\times\ 10\right)}{100}\right)=46\%$$ Ans
