Question 114

Ten percent of twenty plus twenty percent of ten equals?

Ten percent of twenty = $$\dfrac{10}{100} \times 20 = \dfrac{200}{100}$$

Twenty percent of ten = $$\dfrac{20}{100} \times 10 = \dfrac{200}{100}$$

$$\therefore$$ sum = $$ \dfrac{200}{100} +  \dfrac{200}{100}$$ = $$\dfrac{2}{100} \times 200$$

This is equal to $$2\%$$ of $$200$$

Hence, option D is the correct choice.
