Solution

Let the numbers be 3x, 4x
LCM of 3x and 4x is = 12x
So the number 84 is divisible by 12
$$\frac{84}{12}$$ = 7
The numbers are 7x3 = 21 , 7x 4 = 28
The greatest number is 28
