Average weight of class of 24 students = 35 kg
Total weight of students = 24 $$\times$$ 35 = 840 kg
When the weight of the teacher is added, the average becomes = 35.4
$$\therefore$$ Total weight of class = 25 $$\times$$ 35.4 = 885 kg
$$\therefore$$ Weight of teacher = 885 - 840 = 45 kg
Hence, option C is the correct choice
