NSE Exam Date 2026, Eligibility Criteria & Exam Pattern

NSE Exam date 2026 has been announced by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) for the National Standard Examinations (NSE). The exams are held for NSEP (Physics), NSEC (Chemistry), NSEB (Biology), NSEA (Astronomy), and NSEJS (Junior Science). All the mentioned examinations are preliminary-level exams of the Indian Olympiad Program. Those candidates who clear the NSE examination are eligible to take part in the next round known as the Indian National Olympiad (INO), conducted by HBCSE. Candidates planning to appear for the examination should know the complete schedule, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, and post-exam selection process.

NSE Exam Date 2026

National Standard Examination in Sciences (NSE) for the year 2026 will be conducted in November 2026 in various examination centers located in India. Even though NSEA will be held on 21 November 2026, the other examinations such as NSEP, NSEC, NSEB, and NSEJS will be held on 22 November 2026. Candidates should arrive at the examination center before the reporting time.

NSE Exam Schedule 2026 has been prepared in such a way that students can give exams for various subjects in different shifts. The duration of the exam is 2 hours for each subject.
