NMAT 2026 Registration Started?

GMAC states that NMAT can be taken if you hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or are currently in your final undergraduate year. However, individual B-schools can have additional academic requirements.

Documents Required for NMAT 2026 Registration

The photograph is particularly important because it becomes part of your examination identification process. Your personal information should also match your Photo ID exactly.

How to Register for NMAT 2026 Online?

The NMAT registration process is completely online through the official NMAT platform. You first create an account and then complete the application through your Candidate Dashboard.

Follow these steps while completing your NMAT form:

1. Visit the official NMAT website and click on Create your NMAT Account.
2. Enter your valid email address, personal details, and password.
3. Verify your account through the email sent by GMAC.
4. Sign in and complete the details under Manage NMAT Profile.
5. Open your NMAT by GMAC Dashboard after completing profile verification.
6. Enter your personal, academic, contact, and work experience information.
7. Match your name and date of birth with your Photo ID.
8. Select the B-schools or programs where you want your score sent.
9. Upload a recent photograph meeting the specified requirements.
10. Use the preview option and check every field before submitting.
11. Pay the applicable NMAT registration fee.
12. After payment, use your dashboard to schedule your examination.

GMAC allows limited fields to be edited after submission until October 21, 2026. Category, native language, education, work experience, and additional information can be edited. Personal details and address cannot be changed after submission.

After completing registration and payment, you need to schedule your exam separately. The scheduling window remains open until October 22, 2026.

NMAT slots are limited and follow a first-come, first-served allocation. Therefore, delaying scheduling could affect your preferred date or centre.

What Is the NMAT 2026 Registration Fee?

The NMAT 2026 registration fee is ₹3,000 plus applicable taxes. The same fee applies when you register for a retake during the testing cycle.

The registration fee covers score sending to up to five schools or programs. If you want to send scores beyond those five, each additional report costs ₹400 plus applicable taxes.

There is no late registration window, so avoid leaving the application until the deadline.
