IIT Madras MBA Eligibility Criteria 2025
Take a look at the IIT Madras MBA eligibility criteria, prerequisites and exemptions:
- Educational Qualification: Graduates in any discipline from a recognized university or with a professional qualification equivalent to a university degree recognized by the UGC can apply. Further, the graduates should have a first-class division or 60% and above (55% for SC/ST/PwD) in the qualifying examination.
- Final Year Students: The final year students are eligible to apply if they meet all requirements for the qualifying degree before the program starts. In fact, the applicants should produce a provisional certificate of completion within two months of joining (by September 30, 2025).
- Prerequisites: This includes:
- The Indian nationals must have a valid CAT 2024 score.
- Foreign nationals must have a valid GMAT score.
- Graduates in any discipline with a valid CAT score and at least two years of work experience in the same organisation can apply under the sponsored category through the proper channel.
- Exemptions: Those exempted from submitting the CAT score:
- Applicants with an undergraduate degree from any IIT and a CGPA of 8 or above (on a 10-point scale) are exempted from the CAT requirement.
- Defence personnel can apply under the sponsored category through proper channels and are exempted from the CAT requirement
