1. CAT 2024 Score

   • Class 10 and Class 12 marks would be scored separately as well. The evaluation scales are slightly different for Science, Commerce, and Arts streams.

   • It is measured upon the period of one's professional experience, highest being at 24-30 months of work experience.

4. IIM Shillong Personal Interview (PI)
   • This PI accounts for 40 percent in the final selection process and is a key component in the admission process.
5. Gender and Academic Diversity
   • Diversity points contribute 10% to the overall score.

IIM Shillong Application Process 2025

IIM Shillong Selection Criteria for the PGP batch 2025-27 is divided into two phases:

1. Phase 1: Shortlisting candidates for the Personal Interview (PI).
2. Phase 2: Final selection based on a composite score.

Phase 1: IIM Shillong Minimum Cut off 2025

4. After composite scores, candidates will be clustered by their academic diversity. Further, eligible candidates will be grouped according to their social category.

5. In the end, a sum of X number of candidates will be shortlisted for the PI process. X will be decided on the CAT2024 performance, seats IIM Shillong has to offer.

Phase 2: IIM Shillong Shortlisting Criteria

To arrive at the final merit list, The CAT score + Composite score + Gender score of the shortlisted candidates are used. To encourage gender diversity 10 points are awarded to the candidates representing the lower proportion of the eligible pool.
