IIFT Selection Criteria 2025

IIFT Selection Criteria 2025: IIFT has declared its shortlisting criteria for the admissions to its MBA (IB) and MBA (BA) 2025-2027 programs. While the shortlisting criteria for GDPI involves candidate's CAT Score and Gender diversity, the final shortlist will also include other factors like GDPI Score, academics, work experience etc. Read below for detailed information on IIFT Selection Process 2025.

IIFT Eligibility Criteria 2025

To be eligible to get shortlisted at IIFT, a candidate will need to fulfil the below criteria as prescribed by the college:

  • Candidates must have a bachelor's degree of at least 3 years in any discipline with 50% score. Candidates belonging to ST, SC, or PwD categories must have a minimum aggregate score of 45%.
  • Final-year undergraduate students are eligible to apply for IIFT, provided they submit their final degree results at the time of admission.
  • Candidate must have a valid CAT 2024 score.

IIFT Shortlisting Process 2025

Shortlisting for admissions at IIFT will be done in 2 stages namely Stage 1 Shortlisting where candidates will be called shortlisted for GDPI rounds on the basis of their CAT score and gender diversity. Stage 2 is Group Discussion and Personal Interview round the scores of which will be taken into consideration during Final Selection.

Following is the weightage of all parameters that will be considered during IIFT Selection Criteria:

This will be done on the basis of Overall and Sectional Cutoff of CAT score and Gender Diversity.

The final selection criteria at IIFT will include the additional criteria of Academic diversity,
Gender diversity, Work experience. Following table represents the weightage of each criteria as per diff MBA programs at IIFT:

IIFT 2025 Work Experience Evaluation

The work experience will weights around 3% of the final selection. The final score for Work experience will be calculated as:
