IIM Udaipur will be following CAP route for the admission process for batch of 2025-2027. The candidate will have to clear the sectional and overall CAT cutoff to get the CAP invite from the institute. This article contains the complete IIM Udaipur shortlisting process for 2025.
IIM Udaipur Eligibility Criteria 2025
The IIM Udaipur eligibility criteria for admissions to MBA 2025 is as follows:
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree of at least 3 years in any discipline with 50% score. Candidates belonging to ST, SC, or PwD categories must have a minimum aggregate score of 45%.
- Final-year undergraduate students are eligible to apply, provided they submit their final degree results at the time of admission.
- Candidate must have a valid CAT 2024 score.

IIM Udaipur Selection Process 2025
For, IIM Udaipur shortlisting process, the insititute will follow the Common Admission Process (CAP) for admissions this year. This will include shortlisting on the basis of CAT score and the shortlisted candidates will then have to appear for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) which will be a part of Personal Appearance (PA) process.
Stage 1: Shortlisting for CAP based on CAT Score
This includes shortlisting candidates for CAP based on their CAT scores. Then candidates will need to clear the minimum cutoff as given by the university. Following is the category wise IIM Udaipur Minimum Cut off 2025:

Stage 2: Personal Appearance (PA) for CAP
The shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds known as Personal Appearance (PA) under CAP. This year Common Admission Process (CAP) for WAT and PI round will be conducted by IIM Bodhgaya. The scores obtained in the CAP process will be used to prepare the final merit list.
Stage 3: Selection Criteria for Preparing the Merit List
This will include preparing the merit list based on CAT Score, PA Score and scores given to the candidate's profile. Al these parameters have different weightage, the details of which are present in the following table:

Normalized CAT Score
IIM Udaipur will use the CAT score and not the CAT Percentile to calculate the Normalized CAT score. It will be calculated as:
CAT Score of the candidate divided by maximum CAT Score among candidates who have applied to IIMU and attended WAT & PI and multiplied by 100.
Personal Appearance
This consist or 21% of the merit list and the breakup of Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) is as follows:

Profile Score
Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their Academic Scores, Work Experience and Gender Diversity under profile score category. This parameter has 22% weightage in the final merit list with each component having individual weightage.
