### Formula:

$$\Delta H_{overall}=\Delta H_1+\Delta H_2+\Delta H_3+...$$

### Terminologies:

- Hess's Law → Total enthalpy change is independent of the path followed.

- ΔH_overall → Overall enthalpy change.

- ΔH₁, ΔH₂ → Enthalpy changes of individual steps.

### Usage:

- Used to calculate unknown enthalpy changes.
