The CAT 2020 admit card will be available for download on the official website until the day of the exam. CAT 2020 Admit Card Details:
The admit card will provide details regarding the slot of the examination and the center. Once you download the admit card, check whether all the details available on the admit card is correct. Also, check whether the photo and the sign are legible to avoid any last minute hassle. Ensure that you have the same photo as the one printed on the admit card. If you do not have the same photo, make the necessary arrangements.
Check whether the spelling of your name is correctly printed on the admit card. If there is some discrepancy in the information provided in the admit card or if you are unable to download the admit card, you can contact the helpline.
Things to do in the last month:
After completing the CAT 2020 admit card download, locate your center. Do not postpone the task until the day before the exam. Know how to reach your center. If the center cannot be reached easily on the day of the exam, make the necessary arrangements well in advance. Take a few printouts of the admit card and also have the original photo with you.
Start taking mocks in the time slot allotted to you. Take at least 5 to 10 mocks in the same timing as your CAT slot so that you get used to the exam timings. It is important to perform to the best of your abilities on the day of the exam and hence, ensure that you take an ample number of mocks in the actual exam timing.
It is important to simulate the actual exam setting while taking the mock. Take a mock in one sitting. Avoid taking breaks or abandoning mocks in the mid-way. Even if a Dashcat proves to be tough, hang on till the very end. Doing so will help you overcome your temperamental barriers and can prove to be a crucial differentiator on the D-day.
Try to develop a plan of action for the day of the exam and implement it in the mocks. Put your plan to test and make the necessary tweaks based on how well the plan fares in the mock test. Avoid being too rigid with your strategy and be open to making modifications based on the demands of the situation.
