Hi Let the five weights be a,b,c,d and e 4 lightest be a,b,c and d Now (a+b+c+d)/4=40 So a+b+c+d=160 (1) 4 heaviest be b,c,d,e Now b+c+d+e=180 (2) subtracting (2) and (1) we get e-a=20 Now e=20+a We can say minimum of e is 45 Therefore minimum of a will be 25Kg so weights becomes 25,45,45,45 and 45 . Now maximum value of a can be 40Kg so maximum value of e will be 20+40=60kg so weights becomes 40,40,40,40 and 60 Kg Therefore difference in maximum and minimum possible = 220/5 -205/5 = 3kg

sir please tell me if NITs are good for MBA or not as backup option?

As far as i know and i am concerned it is preferrable to writ CAT exams again than join MBA in NITs....

I would like to request you to provide a better explanation in the mocks, I came across this DI set in a sectional I attempted 3 out of 6 questions but I wanted to understand other 3 too but I wasn't able to understand them through the given explanation please help.

Though I agree with the fact that cracku never promised sectional video solutions and still in some they provide it. other major institution for cat coaching never provide video solutions to sectionals. however, I have one request to Maruti sir, that pls lower down the bar from 100 to 35 or 40 because hardly 50 students give sectionals, and based on this the person who is serious enough will never be able to reach video solutions since the bar of 100 takes time. pls, consider. thank you.

Recording video solution requires time and effort Sumit. We promised video solutions for mocks and every single one of them has video solutions. We never promised video solutions for the sectionals and we will still provide them for free, for the questions which are requested by more people.
