Sir what is the difference of accuracy and percentile which is meantion in our score card and how many marks should we get to get 99%

Hi Accuracy means the number of questions you got correct with respect to the number of questions you attempted. For example : You attempted 50 questions and got 40 correct then your accuracy will be 80%. Percentile means the percentage of students behind you in the exam for example if test is given by 100 students and your rank is 20 then that means 80 students are behind you and your percentile will be 80 . Percentile mainly depends on the level of paper and how other students have performed in the exam so 99 percentile in every test can vary depending on the level of the paper .

Am i the only one who feels today's RC based on dreams, lengthy and difficult? Is this how the normal RCs in CAT would be ?

Hi, The quality of the RC in today's Daily Target is much closer to the RCs that you would come across in CAT. The length, however, might vary. We can expect shorter RCs (in the range of 500-550 words) in the actual examination. Nevertheless, we try to provide relatively longer RCs (as was the case with today's DT: ~720 words) to improve comprehension and retention. I hope this helps!

yes these kind of rc will be on cat. thats why we need to select before attempting . last year 2 rc were doable and two were slightly difficult. although todays rcs was solvable but it took alot of time. which could have been saved for one or two other qus.

Hi Niral, thanks for reaching out. The 45 Days Crash Course starts today. Considering only a month and a half is left for the examination, the schedule has been curated keeping in mind that most of the syllabus is covered in the month of October. November is primarily kept aside for revision and a very few topics left over from October. Now coming to the question of how to make the most use of the course. 1. On the day the batch starts, that is, October 4, 2021, the schedule has an overview video, titled, CAT 2021 Overview. This video, apart from giving you an overview of the examination in general, will also elaborate on the various features that the course offers to its students. You are advised to go through it very carefully. 2. Every day of the week from Monday to Saturday, you will be receiving a playlist of topics that you need to cover on that particular day. These videos will mainly be concept videos and overview videos. Based on your familiarity with a particular topic, you can go through the entire video, or try out the questions in the video. Also, each of these topics is followed by a topic test, where you can try out the concept that you have just learned. 2. On Sunday, you will receive a list of revision videos, which will cover the revision of all the topics that have been taught in that particular week. This ensures that you do not forget a concept as you keep going. 3. Additionally, on Sunday, your schedule will also include a topic test (about 20 questions) and a DashCAT/Sectional. 4. You are free to take mocks at your own pace. The course contains 15 Full-Length Mocks and 3 Free Mocks. You can either take them at your own pace or follow the schedule that is provided to you. 5. This is for someone who is already familiar with the majority of the concepts and need help with only a few of them. You are advised to visit the Study Room, and watch the respective videos and get finished with the syllabus before the schedule ends. 6. Take the sectionals at regular intervals, especially to create a section-wise strategy and to get stronger in your weaker sections. There are a total of 15 sectionals, plus one free sectional for each of VARC, DILR and QA. 7. The study room also has a variety of questions. There are questions of all difficulty levels and they cover all areas that can be tested in the examination. Make sure that you keep solving questions from the study room from the topics that you have already covered. Note that every single question in this course is a part of a test. Whether it is a topic test, a concept test, a revision test, or a study room test. This ensures that every question that you solve gives you the feel of an examination. The timer is displayed and the interface is very similar to that of an actual mock. This will help you get accustomed to the examination pressure. Considering the time constraint, you need to give your hundred percent to achieve your target score. the number nearest to 75070 which is divisible by 65 is

Hi When we divide 75070 by 65 we get remainder as 60 so we have to either add 5 or subtract 60 from 75070 to make it completely divisible by 65 as we are asked about the nearest integer so we will add 5 and hence the number is 75075

hello Maruti sir , sir can u plz tell me how to select set in a tough lrdi , in easy or moderate test i get the idea which sets to solve but i m unable to target sets in a tough lrdi, recently i gave mock of a coaching where 1 set fetched around 90 percentile and 2 around 99 in such a paper how to have conviction to keep sticking to a set. ,

Hi For the unconventional sets sometimes you get stuck in between and you spend unnecessary time, in those sets if you get stuck at a point, first skim through all the questions asked in the set and at times we get hints from questions which are asked or sometimes it happens whatever is asked we could answer from whatever we have solved,but if in a case you do not get any info after getting stuck and you feel you will not be able to solve further , you should leave the set and move to the next and save your time because time management and set selection will definitely play a major role in LRDI section of CAT.

Which mocks are best to couple with Cracku's Mock test? I will get 15 Dash CATs from cracku and will be needing 15-20 more mocks from some other institution. Please share if you have any reviews.

Personally, I like Simcats to be paired up with dashcats as the level of difficulty is closer (but a bit tougher) to CAT. Exclusively at a very deeper aspect Dashcats are great for QA and Simcats are great for VARC. DILR usually is of similar types and both have a mix of standard and varied sets all at par with the concepts taught by sayali ma'am. I'd say both are closer but slightly tougher than CAT and Simcats have video solutions as well as their analysis if in the test you should've done it or not. Both Dashcats and Simcats together give enough and more experience about the probable paper patterns and practice around it.

In my 1st DashCat I perfomed miserably and most of them were silly mistakes. In Verbal Sectional I performed slightly below average. Is it okay if I am taking around a week to assess my mistakes, practice more and redefine my strategy before my another DashCat attempt?

Hi I would also advice you to analyze the mock completely before attempting the next mock. Mock analysis is the most important part and you should spend time on it .

Quant faculty of Cracku I am still facing problem to solve question from TSD and TIME and Work topic as whole despite my basic being in place, can I leave this topic and if No what should be my action plan for the same given the days left for CAT

Hi It is not at all recommended to leave TSD and Time and Work as these are the most important topics and you will have 3 to 4 questions from them and sometimes you can even expect a LRDI set on this. So I won't advice you to leave this topic. You should revise your notes again and if you feel go through concept videos once again and for practice you can solve past year CAT questions from this topic as that will be more helpful because you will get to know what actually is asked and how should you approach them.
