EFFECTIVE WAY OF SOLVING RC?

apply as many as you can and see which will fetch you better results. either you can read in bits and then move on the questions and see if you can answer questions based on what you read or maybe you can read the questions first and focus more on the points on which the questions are asked or read it twice and then answer the questions. there is no formula to master them it's all about practice and lots of reading. choose what suits you. these are just few suggestions and not a guarantee that they will help. just see what suits and proceed and go for it. hope this helps. :)

1.The long term plan is to read as much as possible within your tie budget keeping the other topics also in view - Better read varied topics from varied sources. 2. As far as the actual RC is concerned, the best is to follow Madam Kale's rule. Read each paragraph carefully and write down the summary in a line. Then go to the next paragraph and do the same. Once you finish reading the RC write down in one line what you feel as the main point of the RC. 3. Now read the questions and alternatives. Be going back and forth to the passage to search for the correct answer .

Let A,B,C be three positive integers such that the sum of A and the mean of B&C is 5. also,, the sum of B and the mean of A&C is 7. what is the sum of A and B ?

yes. see there would be two equations formed in total if we see the from the 1st hint 1st equation would be A + (B+C)/2 = 5 simplfying this 2A+B+C=10 Likewise 2nd equation would be from 2nd hint this would be simplifies to A+2B+C=14 Now if you subtract equation 1 from 2 B- A =4 ( you would get this ) so B is 4 more than A Now it is given that A , B and C are positive integers suppose I take least value for A as 1 B would be 5 then because B is 4 more than A and if you put these values in any of the equations you would get C as 3 if I take any other case say A =2 , then C would become 0 and c is positive integer so any other value wont satisfy this A- 1 , B-5 and C-3 A+b = 6 answer

since cat 2020 was conducted for 2 hours, why aren't the mocks as per that time duration? What is the point of taking it for 3 hours now?

The reason they are following this is that there hasn't been any official notice regarding the duration of the exam. So they want us to prepare for all the scenarios. I believe as we on with more Dashcat we will definitely see some dashcat on 2 hours pattern also. Even if you follow IMS mock series even they are doing the same providing a mixed Test of 2 or 3 hours and waiting for the official notification. So cracku is also doing the same
