Solution
Average salary in procurement department in 2008 = 2.8
No. of employees = 50
Total salary in 2008 = 50*2.8 = 140
Average salary in procurement department in 2010 = 3.10
No. of employees = 100
Total salary in 2010 = 100*3.10 = 310
Total spent in salaries in both years = 140+310 = 450
