Solution
To be eligible to run for President of India, a person must:
- Be a citizen of India.
- Be at least 35 years old.
- Be qualified to become a member of the Lok Sabha (the lower house of Parliament).
Additionally, the individual should not hold any office of profit under the Union or any State government.
These qualifications are outlined in Article 58 of the Constitution of India.
