A bulb producing company found that 19% of the overall product is defective. If the number of non defective products is 2187 then find the number of defective products.

Solution

% of non defective bulbs = $$100-19=81\%\equiv2187$$

=> Number of defective products = $$19\%\equiv\frac{2187}{81}\times19$$

= $$27\times19=513$$

=> Ans - (C)
