Solution
Total number of students = 39 and number of girls = 36
=> Number of boys in class = 39 - 36 = 3
Average weight of girls = 38 kg
=> Total weight of girls = $$38 \times 36 = 1368$$ kg
Similarly, total weight of full class = $$40 \times 39 = 1560$$ kg
=> Total weight of boys = 1560 - 1368 = 192 kg
$$\therefore$$ Average weight of boys = $$\frac{192}{3} = 64$$ kg
