When a number is increased by 26, it becomes 113% of itself. What is the number?

Solution

Let the number be $$100x$$

According to ques, => $$100x + 26 = \frac{113}{100} \times 100x$$

=> $$100x + 26 = 113x$$

=> $$113x - 100x = 26$$

=> $$x = \frac{26}{13} = 2$$

$$\therefore$$ Number = $$100 \times 2 = 200$$

=> Ans - (A)
