Question 90

If, 1x2= 1, 2x3= -1 and 3x4= -5, Then find the value of 7x9= ?

The pattern followed is that the product of the numbers is subtracted from the sum of the numbers.

Eg : $$(1+2)-(1\times2)=3-2=1$$

and $$(2+3)-(2\times3)=5-6=-1$$

and $$(3+4)-(3\times4)=7-12=-5$$

Similarly, $$(7+9)-(7\times9)=16-63=-47$$

=> Ans - (A)
